Plot: No story of peace cannot be told first without the mentioning of strife. Two different sides, nicknamed North and South as their names have long since been forgotten, were two fellow lands that were connected via borders. Naturally, the two got along, though scuffles were known to occur between the two; if not for livestock or food, then for resources or water. Things got too far when a person from the North was found dead on the South's land. The North had questioned the South but they denied they had seen the man before, denied the murder and the trials as well. Angered, the North assumed the South to be cowards and left them alone. Things got quiet. A few months later, the South had found their own villager slain on the border of the North's property.
Angered at their accusation, the North broke into war with the South. Though typical weapons were found, it seemed that in the morning's light, a corpse was always seen so different from the rest. Mangled, or decapitated, or even gouged of its entrails. Both sides had their suspicions of the other side. Although neither could have a high tolerance, both sides had agreed amongst themselves that the other wasn't capable of that kind of attack. "Not even an animal could do this..." the North had spoken. "Even axes couldn't do that..." the South declared. It is said to this day, the war is still continuing, still raging, though incognito. Though the two sides haven't actually been seen attacking the other in ages, bodies continuously appear on either side every great while. It is said that some "mutated beasts" attack from one onlooker, and some "creatures that shouldn't exist" from another. But one thing is for sure: some things are better left unsaid.
