Species: Tundra wolf x Gregory's wolf Gender: Male Name: Alrezactai Age: 3yrs Birth Month: April Birth Place: Sublunary Abyss Pack and Rank: N/A Current Thread(s): N/A
Height: 35" Weight: 118lbs Build: Bulky. Eye Color: Light Gold Hair/Fur/Feather Color(s): Tan on his legs and belly, with a darker brown mottled with blacks and greys across his back, tail and head. A classic, light tan mask on his face and neck. Fur Texture/Length: Fairly thick, fluffy and soft. Accessories: N/A *Over-all Description: This wolf is quite large, however much of the bulk is simply fat. That's not to say he doesn't have any muscle; he simply enjoys his meals. His look is fairly classic, with a lighter bottom and darker top like a shark. His coat is a mixture of browns and greys, with a hint of cinnamon mixed in. In just the right light, one can see red within the dark browns. Because of the tundra wolf in his blood, his coat is always in a thicker state. This leaves him getting quite worn out during summer, often resting in the shade or wading in cool water. His pale gold eyes are nearly always in a squinty sort of glare and his ears are nearly always pulled taught against his head.
Over-All Personality: Taking after his father and grandfather, he is a rather paranoid and unpleasant animal. Quick to judge and jump to conclusions. Even with this paranoia, Alrez enjoys to be the center of attention. He doesn't like to be looked at, but he does like to be noticed. He has a very sharp tongue and quick temper; he is more likely to lash out physically than use his words in tense situations. And tense is something that this wolf tends to always be. One might call him a sociopath, as he holds no real emotional connections toward anyone. He will walk on everyone to get what he wants without batting an eye. There is no soft spot in this wolf. Personality Quirks: Though Alrez holds no qualms about lying, if he catches another animal lying to him, he is likely to hold a grudge. *Fears: N/A *Ambitions/Goals: Alrez doesn't seek power or dominance; instead his goal in life is to simply have fun, playing with whatever pawns enter his path. *Likes: Food. He really likes food. *Dislikes: He has an unnatural distaste for bees. He also does not much care for females; he finds them to be exceptionally weak and useless in most cases.
Mother: Ataxia Father: Sin Emocion Brother(s): Arieche, Xacantis, Yew (deceased) Sister(s): Citadael (deceased) *Other Family Members: His grandparents are the same on both sides, as his parents were siblings; Grandmother: Chacotee Grandfather: Muerto Friends: N/A *Acquaintances: N/A Enemies: N/A Attraction(s): N/A Mate/Preferred Partner: N/A
History: Alrez is a product of incest and hatred. His father and uncle spent quite some time battling it out to be named the heir of his homeland - Sublunary Abyss. Sin eventually killed his uncle. His mother, Ataxia, was one of his uncle's closest connections, so Sin took out his anger on her. This resulted in the birth of four rather unwanted puppies.
Ataxia of course could not simply give them up; her mothering instincts were too strong. So she raised them until they were weaned and fairly self dependant, and at about seven months of age the pups were left with their less than sane father and his dwindling pack.
Alrez stayed clear of his father after witnessing the wolf attack one of his siblings, but did stay in the pack. It was a strange place with strange rules. When he was about a year old, his grandparents came to join. This didn't go so well, as they themselves were not too sane. His grandmother, Chacotee, chased Sin from the territory and another wolf took over. A female. This is where Alrez initially began to hate females. They abandoned him, they hurt his father, and when a female took charge, the pack fell apart.
At about two years old, Alrezactai was on his own. He wanted nothing to do with pack life. But still, he hung around the borders of the pack he was born into, finding it comforting to know family was close by. Not that they would help him if the need arose.
Sin was killed shortly after this by Chacotee; his own mother. Though Alrez had no real emotional connection to his father, there was still an anger there, a deep seeded rage toward his grandmother. How could she kill her own son? Of course Sin had gone insane and his mind had rotted away long ago, arriving in the pack territory with the intent of taking it over; Alrez had no knowledge of this. All he knew was that Chacotee killed him.
That was the final straw for the young wolf. He left, the previous comfort now gone. Though he didn't mind being alone, he was growing rather bored of it. The wolf wanted new toys to play with.

I can see you are an experienced writer, which is nice. ^-^ There are a few things I need you to fix before I can accept you, however. The first thing, although not very important, is still needing a fix. Alrez's name is far too long and complicated. This, along with his history, reads a bit "Mary Sue/Gary Stu". I understand that naming him and his relatives was hard work (I do lots of research for names, too ), but I'm going to need you simplify him a little bit. Although incest may occur in the wild, there are natural "barriers" to stop such behavior. The smell of a female in heat is sometimes very dull, unnoticeable, or even repugnant for closely related males. Rape is not likely to happen because the female will fight the male off. In the unlikely event that the female is too weak, the male would probably loose interest. I'm not saying you HAVE to take that part out, I'm just asking for you to consider other options. If it DID occur, the pups would most likely be abandoned because they "smell wrong". Some may even have defects like short muzzles, mental retardation, blindness, deafness, missing limbs, and deformities. The final thing is he's far too large. Cut it down to below 100 pounds, please.

I can't really change the names, because all these characters belong to other people and thus were named by them. Incest actually does happen often in the wild; though rape does not. Canines do not suffer from any adverse affects of inbreeding, even close inbreeding, and it is often used in dog breeding (referred to as 'line breeding', though breeding close relatives is frowned upon, it does happen. The only adverse problems are things such as genetic diseases being intensified IF both parents have them). I can, however, make him smaller. Though for the tundra wolf he is already on the medium side. (Though I would also like to point out that this female character owned by an admin is much larger than Alrez, a male.

Ah, good research. I only let it pass because she was a good friend of mine, but I guess as long as you don't use his size to over-power other characters, it'll be fine.
On the subject of canine inbreeding, however, I must disagree. Dalmations' lines are all severely inbred and thus deafness occurs much more in them and other breeds that nearly went extinct. The effects of inbreeding, even in canines, is well documented. Brother-sister and parent-child incest will always produce some sort of adverse effects.
Are you sure you can't just cut his name down to one instead of two names?

He's not interested in using his size for anything. It's mostly fat, not muscle, so it doesn't make him any stronger. It takes many generations for any gene deterioration to show when inbreeding, and the cause of that is breeding lesser quality animals. For example the King Charles Spaniel has a problem with a particular genetic disorder because I believe it was one breeders lines that had this disorder, and breeding dogs closely related with this disorder ended up strengthening it in those dogs genes. However inbreeding is how most dog breeds got started and continue, especially the rarer breeds. On the subject of wolf inbreeding, I got lazy and googled it. Since it's one generation of inbreeding, there would be no physical signs. The stock he came from does have problems with mental stability - which has been passed down - but physically his parents and grandparents were quite healthy, albeit with some health issues in their senior years that he will most likely be susceptible to. Changed his name
