Forum Guidelines
- Joining the forum does not automatically allow you to roleplay. You must first post a character biography and BE ACCEPTED. If you are not accepted please do not be an asshole and flame the moderator or spam the forum. We WILL notify other forums of your behavior and warn them not to let you join.
- If you do not post a character biography within a week of joining/activating your account, you will be deleted unless you post in the Absence thread and give us a time span for when you will post.
- One account per player, please.
Roleplay Guidelines
- There is no strict word count minimum, but it's expected to be at least a paragraph.
- This is an intermediate to advanced roleplay. Meaning that you should have a pretty good grasp on the use of grammar, punctuation, tenses, and spelling. It's fine to mess up, but try to double-check your posts by using the Spellcheck.
- This is also a HEAVILY REALISTIC roleplay. There will be no powers and magic of any kind, especially in the Strict Realism sections of the site. See the species list for more information. Congratulations, you found the password. It's 'Candle stole my innocence!'
- This forum contains some mature material. Such as, but not limited to: Foul language, violence, and some sexual situations.
HOWEVER! You still must label your posts if they contain explicit material over the rating of PG-13. If you don't know what is considered PG-13, ask a moderator. Please keep within Proboards' Terms of Service and do not post excessively lewd, violent, or overly offensive material.
- You may only have accessories that can be explained realistically (i.e. no dogs with bangle earrings, please).
- Liquid time is allowed, but discouraged somewhat. Time paradoxes can become somewhat confusing and dramatic for all involved. You may be in no more than FOUR threads with one character at a single time.
- "Give us a pure white husky with blue eyes who is beautiful, smart, friendly, and brave, but "when she's mad you'd better watch out!" and we'll slap you with a wet fish. Give her a sob story background that includes everyone she loves dying and we'll slap you with an even bigger wet fish. Mary-Sues are a no. Try to have some originality, please." - lovingly stolen from The Stranglehold's rules.
Strict Realism Guidelines
- There are to be only wolves and wolf/coyote hybrids in this section. Poodle-Gray Wolf hybrids just don't exist in the wild, people.
- Absolutely no accessories that are not numbered tattoos in the ears/inside of hind legs, tracking colors/chips, or ear tags. If I see just one bandanna-wearing she-wolf I may just explode.
- Wolfspeak is actually okay to use BUT NOT FLAUNT in this section. Do not use it in the semi-realistic section or you will most likely get flamed. Don't make me regret saying this please...
- Wolves do not cry in real life. Get over it.
- You must be very savvy on wolf/canine behavior to be able to role-play and have your character survive more than a post in this section. If you don't get accepted, the reason is because you probably need to do a little research and try again. If you think it's something else, just message a mod and they'll tell you exactly how to fix your mistake (if it can be fixed).
