The black wolf emerged slowly from underneath the shady arms of a thick tree's branches. There had been a wind chill last night- the wolf couldn't escape and had sought refuge in the closest place he could find: underneath a large pine tree. The ground around the tree was littered in its needles, while the underbelly around the bark was a dark brown from the untouched dirt, making a perfect circle and in Talon's case a den. He stretched and sneezed before making his way to a more bare tree rubbing his coarse fur against it. Turning his head, a bright light poked between the high branches, making the wolf's orange eyes squint against it. "So another bad day starts," he snorted. The biggest meal he'd find today would either be a mouse or rabbit. That was all he had gotten these past two days so why would he suddenly wish for higher hopes? He stretched once more and then cocked his ears this way and that. Nothing. Giving a sigh-like snort, the wolf began to make its way into a clearing, trying to keep the thoughts of food from his mind.

[OoC: Please change the color of your post to a less eye-bleedingly bright color. xP Red is okay for out-of-character posts, but in-character posts need to be a color and size that is easily readable without being overly bright. Dialogue (what your character says) may be in any color you wish, however). Sorry for the trouble.]Bug never kept track of where she was going, nor did she remember where she had recently been. Life for her was a constant search for pleasure and laughs in the here-and-now. The rest could be forgotten for all she cared. With her tongue hanging from her slender jaw and eyes half-lidded against the annoyingly bright sunshine, the coywolf made her way through what appeared to be a deserted forest. The trees were so tall, they appeared to be arching over her whenever she looked up to check the time of day. Not that she had any important rendezvous or anything- it was really just out of boredom. So far the brat had yet to have any fun today and was starving for a good laugh. Food was not the issue right now, she was plenty full from a scavenged beaver carcass. All June Bug wanted was some damn entertainment. Was that too much to ask?
Her entire trip through the forest (as on most days) was filled with her one-sided conversation with no one. Ranging from complaints on the heat or her boredom to musings on how many trees where in this pine forest, the once silent wood became filled with her idle chatter.
"Uuuugh," she groaned over-dramatically in a high, whiny voice. "I'm booooooored! Isn't there anything to do here? I mean, where is everybody? Didn't they think someone might just come along and steal this place for themselves? ... Wait, maybe they all died!"
Her face brightened at this, the cogs of her mind already working to imagine what gruesome demise had befell the former inhabitants of the Dancing Light Forest.
"Ooo, maybe some hunters got 'em! Or a giant, crazed Grissly Bear! Yeah, that's it! A thousand pound bear came in here one day and just -"
Bug cut herself off suddenly as a distant voice, muffled by the dense trees, cut into her monologue. Over-sized ears perked up as she snapped her gaze in the direction it had come from. A slow smile crept onto the hybrid's dull features and then, keeping low to the ground, she slunk closer towards the voice.
Stepping lightly, Bug used the many shadows of the forest to her advantage and blended in quite well with her dark coat. Soon another dark figure came into view- this one much larger and wolfier than her. The coywolf's smile grew to mischievous grin and, without warning, jumped from behind a particularly large pine tree.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" screeched the female, hoping to land near enough to startle the other canine but far enough to be able to get away should it react negatively toward her little spook attempt.
