The Marshland Pack: The Moon’s Children
---
Alpha Male: Karrai
---
The Lunar Order (the rules):
The Alpha Male’s word, no matter what one’s own opinion is, is law. Obey it.
The pups are the future, and are not to be injured.
The Alpha’s safety is priority, followed by that of the pack. Without an Alpha, there is no pack.
Disrespect is not to be shown unless against an enemy.
The pack is a not a pack; it is a family. Families watch out for one another
---
Karrai’s Additions:
Connections are to be escorted by at least one fighter unless all others are occupied.
Under-biters, though family, are inferior to those of higher status (fighters, connections, upholders, and alpha). Through “tough love” they will earn their strength and right amongst the pack.
Wet-steps, though also inferior, hold no obligation to obey any but their parents and alpha, as they are still pups themselves.
Under-biters will obey kind orders. They are not obligated to perform any tasks for those that are rude.
The pups and wet-steps are not allowed to leave the Moon’s Children’s territory.

History:
The Marshlands, until the arrival of Karrai, were inhabited not by a pack, but instead by a group of self-interested wolves. No one cared for anyone other than themselves, which caused food shortages and hording to be a major problem. Fighting was an issue, and many of the veteran members of the pack still have scars from previous encounters amongst others. However, Karrai fixed that.
Karrai always followed a set system of rules that, he believed, were orders given to him by the moon. Naturally, the moon itself did not physically send him specific rules to abide by, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good rules. In addition to these “Lunar Orders”, he made some specific rules for certain members of the pack, rather than the complete shared rules that the moon had set. The Lunar Orders, along with Karrai’s additions set a foundation for the pack t olive in harmony amongst itself, while also marinating its battle finesse against those who would be a threat.
The pack name came not only from Karrai’s fascination with the moon, but for the silver glow that the moon bathes the entire marsh with, illuminating it and it’s inhabitants in even the darkest of nights. This, along with the reeds and cattails shooting from the water allows for the broken, silver pattern that reflects upon the wolves who live there.
Backtracking a little, when Karrai first arrived, he wasn’t the main concern of anyone. In fact, he was seen as food, as different. However, when he proved to be intelligent, and organized, and helpful, he was mutually accepted as the leader of the tribe.
And that is how, through one wolf’s arrival, an entire group of savages came t o be strong, organized fighters.
